SERVICE

The Queen’s Daughters’ core focus is to take care of our Blessed Mother’s children here on earth. Annually, we donate monetarily and through service to several local Louisville charities.

QUEEN’S DAUGHTERS CORE FOCUS PROGRAMS

CATHOLIC CHARITIES’ FAMILY SERVICES PROGRAM

The Catholic Charities Family Services program provides services and support to pregnant and postpartum mothers living in poverty. The Queen's Daughters have supported this program since 2000. We also pledge financial contributions through our annual Fall Fun Fest and Fashion Show and Luncheon fundraising events.

NATIVITY ACADEMY

Nativity Academy at Saint Boniface is an independent Catholic middle school that educates Louisville’s urban youth. Every year, The Queen’s Daughters sponsors one child through her years at the academy through our Student Sponsorship program. This program is vital to Nativity Academy’s ability to provide quality education and the opportunity for these students to move on to achieve their goals and aspirations.

SOS (SUPPLIES OVERSEAS)

SOS (Supplies Overseas) is a global health nonprofit improving critical healthcare needs in medically impoverished communities around the world. By collecting and distributing surplus medical supplies and equipment, they are able to deliver hope and health to over 106 countries. Volunteering at SOS is one of The Queen’s Daughters’ favorite service projects. The Queen’s Daughters volunteer at SOS regularly to help sort supplies that benefit those overseas as well as in our own community.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Queen's Daughters Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students who wish to attend a local Catholic high school. A committee of members reviews applications and selects recipients based on financial need, academic record, leadership skills, and community service.

Support for local Catholic students through the scholarship fund began in the 1987-88 school year. The Queen's Daughters fundraise for this program semiannually through our Fall Fun Fest and the Fashion Show and Luncheon events.
