Mary’s Day – 2022
Queen’s Daughters enjoyed a wonderful Mary’s Day at Holy Family Church. Every year, we take this day to honor the Blessed Mother and recognize our Scholarship Fund recipients, a program that provides financial assistance to students who wish to attend a local Catholic high school. This year, the awards were presented by Archbishop Shelton Fabre to our four recipients: Will Yurt from Notre Dame Academy, who will be attending DeSales High School; Luke Rock from Immaculata Classical Academy, where he will be continuing his education; Maggie Hernandez from St. Rita, who will be attending Mercy Academy; and Allie Tinsley from Notre Dame Academy, who will be attending Holy Cross.
Will Yurt from Notre Dame Academy will be attending DeSales High School in the fall.
Luke Rock from Immaculata Classical Academy will be continuing his high school education there in the fall.
Maggie Hernandez from St. Rita will be attending Mercy Academy in the fall.
